[10:36 am, 12/07/2026] Braudy Dominican Art -: Dionisio Blanco, known as one of the most prominent and internationally renowned Dominican painters, was born in San Cristóbal on October 9th., 1953. A draftsman and painter, he studied art at the National School of Fine Arts. He has also dedicated himself to teaching, serving as a drawing professor at the School of Art of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD). [10:37 am, 12/07/2026] Braudy Dominican Art -: He then worked at the Museum of History and Geography of Santo Domingo in 1977. He was a drawing instructor at the Cándido Bidó Art Center. He also worked at the Museum of Dominican Man. He was a draftsman in the Public Works offices, collaborating with architect Eugenio Pérez Montás on restoration projects in the Colonial Zone of Santo Domingo.
